HELP WANTED
UUMC is hiring nursery helpers. Please contact

The times are Sunday mornings 8 am-12 noon,
and the occasional week day/night times,
including Wednesday evenings and Sunday
afternoons. All times are flexible and may be
several times a month or even weekly. Upon
hire, workers will be given as much notice as
possible for sub times, but may also be given
option of covering "permanent" times (for
example a weekly Bible study or regular
monthly meeting). There will be times when
due to illness of regular workers, a sub may be
called the night before or Sunday morning. All
applicants will be interviewed and screened
before hire. Pay rate is minimum wage ($7.25)
per hour.  Applicants may bring their own
children (up to 3).

Nursery subs will:
Ensure the physical and spiritual well-being of
our children by performing the following duties:
Be a leader who loves small children and
relates well to parents. The major responsibility
of this position is to care for the children (0
years-elementary) during Sunday morning
worship services (8:15 am–12:00 pm.) and
Sunday school hour. This position is not time
intensive but is time specific. The nursery must
be open and available each Sunday morning
and occasional weeknights. It is expected that
the person filling this position will either be
present during these hours or give notice to
nursery director of unavailability.

Act II: Ministry to Young Adults
Act II is a praise time (now being held in the Fellowship Room) with
student-led music, prayers, and a devotional message that transitions
into a time of Bible and
experience-based discussion on many topics.  

Act II meets on Sundays at 6:45 when KWU is in
session and is ministry especially geared toward
college-age students and young adults.

Act II will not be held on Feb. 5th, due to student
activities on campus for the Super Bowl.
